Reading v Wolves 18.03.06

Glen Hoddle’s play-off chasing Wolves were held to a 1-1 draw at the Madejski Stadium.

For some reason, I only seem to have kept pictures of Bobby Convey from this game, maybe fitting because it was Convey that scored Reading’s only goal in the 25th minute. Wolves equalised in the 64th minute through Kenny Miller.

Wolves v Reading 26.12.05

The Royals stayed on the road for this years Boxing Day clash, playing Wolverhampton Wanderers at Molineux.

Early in the game Dave Kitson managed to find the woodwork twice in a matter of seconds when consecutive headed attempts were kept out of the net. The striker made sure, however, when on 29 minutes Kitson headed home a cross from Glen Little at the far post to make 1-0 to the Royals.

Dave Kitson's goal set another record, do you know what it was?

Bobby Convey added a second goal in the second half on 64 minutes to make it 2-0 to Reading, another win, another three points, and ensured the Royals would stay top of the Championship.
