Luton Town v Reading 17.02.06

When Kevin Doyle scored inside the first minute at Kenilworth Road, it looked like Reading were set to continue their unbeaten Championship run, having not lost since the opening game of the season to Plymouth. The Royals found themselves 2-1 down by half time, having conceded two Rowan Vine goals in the space of five minutes.

Things only got worse for the Royals just after the start of the second half, when former Royal dean Morgan hit a low strike past the helpless Hahnemann in the Reading goal.

Kevin Doyle did manage to pull one goal back in the 90th minute, but it was too late to extend Reading unbeaten run of 33 Championship games without defeat.
